Located inside Sariska Tiger Reserve, Pandupol is a well-known Hindu temple dedicated to Lord Hanuman. It is believed that this temple was built about 5000 years ago by Saint Nirbhaya Das. Pandupol Hanuman Mandir boasts simple yet marvellous architecture that attracts a large number of tourists. On your way to the temple, you’ll witness beautiful waterfalls, cascading from a height of 35 ft. One unique aspect of this temple in Alwar is the reclining position of the idol of Lord Hanuman. There are many langurs and monkeys who hang around Pandupol Temple, adding to the spiritual air of the location. The natural beauty of the place, as well as the aesthetic and historical value, provides a sense of peacefulness and quietude.

Bhartrihari Temple
Bhartrihari Temple is one of the most venerated Hindu temples in Alwar, located about 30 km from the main city, close to Sariska National Reserve. The temple is named after the ruler of Ujjain - Bhartrihari Baba. Legend has it that Baba was blessed with magical prowess, so all the wishes made by pure-hearted devotees are fulfilled. The temple features a small shiva linga with yoni, which symbolises the strength of the womb. The serene atmosphere offers peace and tranquil energy to the visitors. The beauty of the Naldeshwar Shrine is accentuated by two naturally-formed lakes with water flowing in from the surrounding hills.
