Utterly charming
Utterly charming place to stay and explore an equally fascinating city. Travelling in a group this was a wonderful departure from big hotels- not that there is a problem with them. Beautiful gardens and setting, comfortable and delightful rooms built in a traditional style and lovely food. Afternoon tea in the lawns is a delightful ritual.

Memorable stay in the lap of heritage and nature
My two day stay at Deo Bagh shall forever be etched as a memorable one. I was enamoured by Deo Bagh's enchanting blend of history, architecture and endeavour towards sustainability. The 17th century temples and cenotaphs located in the premises offer an amazing exploratory experience. Staying at Deo Bagh is like staying in the midst of nature with a beautiful cornucopia of fruit orchards and cacophony of birds housing therein. Deo Bagh offers best of both worlds - silence and solitude like the royalty once enjoyed, while being just a few minutes away from the hustle and bustle of city of Gwalior. Rooms at Deo Bagh come with a cosy yet simplistic décor that exude comfort and warmth. Every room opens into a portico which leads to the mammoth, manicured lawns which are the centrepoint of the hotel. The smiling faces and courteous service of the staff made it a very happy and welcoming stay. The menu at Deo Bagh is an eclectic mix of cuisines ranging from pan- Indian, Thai, Chinese, Mexican, Italian, etc. The highlight of my stay was a barbeque picnic lunch by Chef Pramod Sharma and his team, which was an amazing experience. Deo Bagh is a must visit property. Once you visit, I am sure you shall keep returning for more.

Delightful
This is a truly lovely hotel. Its peace engulfs you as soon as you enter the gate. The grounds are enchanting with spacious lawns, colourful flowerbeds and beautiful trees which are home to numerous species of birds, including peacocks. Best of all, half hidden beneath the trees is a group of venerable, serene and exquisitely carved old temples.
Within the hotel, the rooms are light, spacious and very comfortable. They are tastefully furnished in traditional style, each with a private outdoor verandah overlooking the gardens. The staff are not only attentive, but also very kind and helpful. The meals produced by the chef are absolutely delicious and each day there is the lovely treat of afternoon tea on the lawn. We stayed here whenever we are in Gwalior and are already looking forward to our next visit.

"Situated in the culturally rich and historically significant city of Gwalior, the Neemrana group's non-hotel hotel Deo Bagh has 15 rooms, spread over five wings. The structure dates back to the 1500s, and was a popular camping ground for the Mughals. The garden complex is home to beautiful temples, a 'Hathi Khana', stables, and cenotaphs."
