While most heritage hotels in India are born with the beauty and treasures of history, some of the best hotels in India have the luxury of housing architectural treasures within the property. Deo Bagh is one such example. Two 17th-18th century Maratha temples, two splendid cenotaphs and one pavilion with 36 arched gateways, within the property makes Deo Bagh one of the unique heritage hotels in Gwalior! Deo Bagh has 15 rooms spread across 5 wings facing a Nau Bagh. There are 3 suites and 12 rooms. These have been named after the historical connections of the Jadhav family of Gwalior. One stay at our palatial rooms in Gwalior will get you started on the discovery of the best hotels in India!

It is a must-have experience. Staying in this place is very relaxing, soothing, and calming to the mind and soul. One gets to connect with nature. The sound of chirping birds, squirrels, and peacocks brings peace to the mind. Beautiful!

Worth the money

We are not used to this type of accommodation, being backpackers for months, but we loved our stay, and it’s definitely worth the money. We loved the garden and the temples, and I found a scops owl in the garden, which was also very nice.
