Located on the first floor of the Tope Mahal ramparts from where canonns were meant to be fired. Ashish Mahal honours Ashish Khokhar who is India's sole dance historian, a living lexicon and reference point in every genre of dance. He has inherited from his father Shri Mohan Khokar, the largest memorabilia related with Indian dance, some of which are exhibited there.
Ashish Mahal is a spacious room with a balcony overlooking the garden. It has a sunny sit-out with airy embrasures which were possibly planned as a venue to shoot down at the enemy. It has access to a large sunny terrace with amazing 360 degree views. This room has one double bed, a seating and study.
