Cancellation Policy - Arco Iris, Goa

Cancellation Charges for individual bookings

  • If cancelled before 07 days (168 hours) from the arrival date, 5% retention will be applicable on the total billing amount. Refund for balance amount or credit note can be extended for 06 months.
  • If cancelled within 07 days (168 hours) from the check in date, 01-night retention will be applicable.

Long weekends, Christmas, New Year period & for bookings which are 05 rooms & above shall be governed by the group cancellation policy.

  • If cancelled before 21 days from the arrival date, 5% retention will be applicable on the total billing amount of the booking.
  • If cancelled within 21 days from arrival date, 100% retention will applicable.

Confirmation/cancellation policy for weddings and large celebrations

  • 25% of the total billing has to be made at the time of the confirmation of the booking.
  • 25% of the total billing has to be made 90 days prior to event.
  • 25% of the total billing has to be made 60 days prior to event.
  • 25% of the total billing has to be made 30 days prior to event.
  • If not complied to the above, the booking can be cancelled.
  • Full clearance of bill at the check-out.
  • In case of any cancellation:
    o Total advance paid will be retained if cancelled anytime between 3 months and 1 month prior to the date.
    o 100% retention to be charged if cancelled 1 month prior to the date of event.
In case of any cancellation the GST of 18% on the advance will have to be retained as it is to be paid by us to the authorities by the 5th of the next month.

Note:

Any postponement of the booking will be treated as a cancellation and will be governed by the Cancellation Policy.

  • A group booking is defined as :
    o 2 rooms or more for hotels with an inventory of 4-10 rooms
    o 5 rooms or more for hotels with an inventory of 11-21 rooms
    o 10 rooms or more for hotels with an inventory of 22-65 rooms
  • Refunds only through cheque for bookings made by cash/cheque/bank transfer.
  • Online refunds for bookings made through the website usually take 7-10 working days.
  • Credit/debit card/ Instamojo online refunds will only be made against credit/debit card bookings and usually take 15 working days.
  • The original receipt must be presented for processing the refund.
  • Credit/debit card/ Instamojo cancellations will be charged 5% extra.
