BEST WEDDING DESTINATION IN RAJASTHAN!!!
Tijara Fort-Palace is the perfect venue for wedding, it has that royal charm and comfort to make the guest feel at home. Everything was on time, there were no issues related to service or management. I want to thank the whole team at Neemrana Hotels office for assisting us and everyone at Tijara Fort-Palace for such an amazing hospitality. Everything was great and so organised and not just for us but for the staff as well. The drivers accommodations were clean, properly maintained and had a good service. Thank you so much for making our day really special.
We didn’t want to leave but we’ll visit again for sure

Outstanding experience
We decided to go to Tijara Fort-Palace on a whim & booked a room ( Iranna Mahal ). The property is a lovely, sprawling collection of Mahals with tastefully done up rooms, superb lawns and greenery, an inviting pool. Outstanding feature of the property is its staff, in particular Mr. Amit Kumar Sharma & Mr. Jai Bhagwan in the Khajur Mahal restaurant who went out of their way to make us feel welcomed!

Delightful
This was the 50th year class reunion and we got what we wanted - an exceptional experience of location, hospitality, courtesy, and care. The ambience of the fort, the size and opulence of the rooms, the quality and variety of cuisine, the attentive service - made our stay very enjoyable.

"I visited this fort on a day trip and it unexpectedly turned out to be the best day. The road to this marvelous fort winds up thru mustard fields & turns left to end up at the fort gate. While entering inside the fort you feel curious as you will go thru corridors and reception area but once it opens up it is all beauty around. The acres of green fields down below under the clear blue sky and brown hills on two sides makes a spectacular view where it is hard to take your eyes off. Further the fort is divided in three main structures (Rani Mahal, Mardana Mahal & Hawa Mahal) with the restaurant Kanch Mahal in between.
Once unfinished & abandoned fort was in utter ruins but recent restoration work has carved the beauty & elegance out of it. Every nook & corner of the historical fort is now a picture perfect destination to click various angles of beauty and marvelous structure on all sides. The food was good and tea offered at Hawa Mahal first floor was wonderful experience. They have 60 plus rooms in case you wish to stay and soak more in the views and surroundings. All the structures have green gardens in front where you can laze down in between. Overall a wonderful & interesting place to visit to enjoy and unwind. Highly Recommended!!"
"A huge thanks to all of them who made our group (rotary) one of the best overnight experiences at Tijara on 2nd December which was truly enjoyable and remarkable. Everyone enjoyed the courteousness of your staff. The food was good, the rooms were comfortable, the lawns were well maintained and the facilities were up to the mark. The best compliments to everyone at Tijara. Most of us are looking forward to spending a longer stay at your services. Thanks again."
"Thanks for the magical days of poetry and meditative discussions, for sharing your writing and the creative process. That mystic poetry has so much density and diversity was brought home through the sessions, and the evening programme on Lorca’s “Deep Song” illustrated the oneness of poetic language across barriers of time and geography.
Tijara Fort was the perfect setting for our Retreat, and Aman, we were lucky to have you amongst us, introducing the history and mystical meanings of such heritage space. Teamwork, I appreciate all the details of our comfortable stay.
Thank you-- each one of you—for the memorable days. I cherish our conversations and the warm friendship. The programme may lead towards a publication which we can discuss another time."
“We laboured up the incline and, fifteen minutes later, arrived at the summit—a wind-whipped vantage point that overlooked acres of unpopulated farmland. Clusters of palm trees swayed in the distance under a gorgeous blue sky. It was a beautiful setting for a hotel. And the nineteenth-century fort-palace of Tijara in Alwar had fallen into most excellent hands—the Neemrana group of hotels.”

"A swimming pool was being constructed on the south side of our building. I could see that it will have a long uninterrupted view of the plains stretching out to the township of Tijara. The feeling it would evoke was that of being transported back to the age of the maharajas.....”

The basic decision was to use the hilly nature of the terrain to locate all the large-scale functions at such depths that they would not clutter the historic composition of the three historic buildings above the ground. The three historic buildings have been creatively restored and eclectically renewed with an eye for detail. Tijara teaches us how it’s not the relentless conservation of singular, old buildings but the creative use and adaptive reuse of a complex of historic buildings in their larger context that gives the best results.”
